Changes in 2007

There have been many changes at The Action Centre this year with new activities and new faces.  We have also said good bye to some old friends; Els did some relocating to help out her family, Shalha decided to move her business closer to her home and Shelley decided she need to take more time for herself and other projects that needed her attention.  Our long time President made a life change move and accepted a teaching job in Nova Scotia. Maggie Fairfield also decided to make a change in her life which in turn made a big change at The Action Centre.  But it speaks well of her management that when she left, things were able to continue with ease because of the legacy she left behind.  We have also seen some not so new faces here at the centre. After some consideration of how to proceed Pamela Smith (nee Contant) was hired as Assistant Director.

Fundraising Gala 2007

The Action Centre would like to thank everyone for there help and support with your second annual fundraising event. This year we were happy to collaborate with The Bonnechere Community Health Committee. We welcome this tremendous initiative to our are and were glade to share in a successful evening.

Thanks to all the silent auction donations, The Star Tools band, Dia Basset, The Eganville Legion and Staff and The Ladies Auxiliary and all the people who came and participated. Your show of support was heartwarming.

Next year promises to be even better!!!
